S pomocou dobrých priateľov zo Žiliny a rodín Kataríny a Michala Puškášovcov, Violy a Otta Ceterovcov a profesorkou dejepisu Albínou Pánikovou z Dolného Kubína sa mu podarilo nájsť náhrobné kamene prarodičov a praprarodičov Duschnitzovcov, Grünwaldovcov a Riegelhauttovcov. Tieto kamene po úprave a prevezení dnes stoja na žilinskom židovskom cintoríne.

The gravestones from Jewish cemetery in Dolny Kubin carried over to Zilina. For the transport of gravestones was responsible Mr. Arieh Klein from Israel whose mother came from Dolný Kubín. During his first visit to Slovakia he visited the cemetery in Dolný Kubín which was almost completely destroyed. Also records about buried were missing. With help of his good friends from Zilina, families of Katarina and Michal Puškášovci and Viola and Otto Ceterovci and professor of history Albina Panikova from Dolný Kubín he managed to discover gravestones of his grandparents and his great-grandparents Duschnitz, Grunwald and Riegelhautt. These gravestones are now renovated at a Jewish cementery in Zilina.

The first grave says: Buried here is a righteous man, great scholar of the Torah, rabbi Moshe Leib Greenwald, may his memory be a blessing, son of David, grandson of the holy genious rabbi Israel HaRoeh, Av Beit Din Sobotiste. Taken from his miserable family in his prime, on 25 Elul 5665. A great tree of holy people produced a gentle new branch, He was blessed and did extraordinary things, Many Yeshivas, and his spirit found double, Studied Torah up until his death and used it as his eyes, The hose of god was his home and nation. In his youth, oh, his spirit has left him.His memory will be blessed by his mourners.

The second grave says: Buried here is an old, important and respected woman Tziperl Greenwald widow of the wonderful rabbi Moshe Yehuda Greenwald, daughter of Israel Isser Duschnitz, in her 81st year of life. died on 21 Elul 5695

Israel HaRoeh was rabbi Israel Schauer. His daughters Regina / Rivka and Fani / Feigla were the 2 wifes of rabbi Jacob Koppel Reich of Budapest, the chief rabbi of Hungary and advisor to the Emperor, and the first Jew in Hungarian parliament.
Another daughter was Laura Weiss and a fourth daughter was Johanna Kohn, b. 1954. There was an earlier daughter Hani who was born in 1840 and probably died before she was 14, and another daughter Maria, who might turn out to be Moshe Leib Grunwald's mother.
