Vnútorný priestor modlitebne predeľuje drevený raster – mechica. Zo ženskej časti vidieť priestorové usporiadanie modlitebne. Ženy a deti nemali do vysvätenej časti ortodoxnej synagógy prístup a sedeli preto v oddelenom priestore za drevenou mrežou. V týchto priestoroch sa teraz nachádza expozícia Múzea židovskej kultúry v Žiline. Interiér je v neporušenom stave so zachovaným pôvodným mobiliárom s geometrickým dekorom dvadsiatych rokov.

Orthodox Synagogue The interior of the chapel is divided by a wooden partition (mechitza). From the women’s section you can get a feel for how the space of the chapel has been arranged. Women and children were not allowed in the ordained section of the Orthodox synagogue and sat behind the wooden partition. The exposition of the Museum of Jewish Culture in Zilina is now found in this section of the synagogue. The interior has not been disturbed, and the furnishings with their geometric décor are from the 20’s.
