97 – Townhouse 15, Marianske square

Architectural style: early 16th century, then altered in the 17th century, the facade was changed and the house was rebuilt in the 19th century, the basement is Gothic, the ground floor and first floor are Renaissance.
The predominant architectural style is Renaissance. A former terraced townhouse with an original vaulted stone cellar. This house was owned by the Turiak family for a long time, until 1876, when the estate was divided among the individual members of the family. The house almost burned down during a fire in 1756. After this it changed hands frequently. In 1880 it was bought from Gejza Boršický from Kamenná Poruba by Anton Lerc and then in 1885 Jakub Polák became the new owner. Seven years later it became the property of David Friedner. His heirs sold the house to Arnošt Rolný from Prostějov. This house was nationalised in 1958. The house has only partially been restored.
